Sub Therapy

Sub Therapy is a Paris-based DJ, known for her immersive and emotional sets at the crossroads of IDM, trance and dub techno.

Her approach rests on progression and feeling rather than immediate impact. She builds trajectories where tracks breathe, evolve and speak to each other, creating an organic tension that unfolds over time. Between surrender and sensuality, her sets invite you to dance as much as to feel.

Equally at home in club and ambient contexts, Sub Therapy explores different temporalities. Her sets range from 90 to 145 BPM, from introspective downtempo to more intense trance peaks. She moves fluidly between warm-up, peak time and closing, adapting her energy without ever losing coherence.

A fixture on the Parisian scene, she has played at venues such as Cabaret Sauvage, La Station – Gare des Mines, Trabendo, FAWA and Le Sample, as well as for collectives including Nipples, Alter Paname, Microclimat, La Toilette, Positive Altitude and Sous Tes Reins.

Always attuned to the dancefloor, she cultivates the art of the unexpected moment: a forgotten track, a classic reframed or a bold choice placed at just the right time. These breaks often give rise to the most striking moments — ones that can unite an entire crowd and turn a closing set into a shared memory.

Sub Therapy develops a sound signature that is both precise and instinctive, where music becomes a space for sharing, tension and collective pleasure.

Modestie

Modestie took his first steps behind the decks at the YinYang Festival on the Great Wall of China. Back in France, he deepened his practice, driven by the need to structure his world and sharpen his relationship with electronic music.

Fuelled by records gathered on his travels, he developed a distinctive approach shaped by constant digging and a sensitivity for luminous textures and immersive atmospheres. His sets oscillate between hypnotic grooves and introspective selections, with particular attention to narrative and dynamics.

Active on the Parisian scene, he became a resident at the Garage and played at iconic venues such as Concrete. He also shared the decks with underground collectives including Péripate, Nipples, Microclimat, La Toilette and Positive Altitude. It was in this context that he co-founded the duo C O N T E N T with Sub Therapy.

From 2020 onwards, he used the slowdown of nightlife to explore the electronic aesthetics of the 80s and 90s more deeply — a process that has lastingly shaped his artistic identity.

Since 2021, Modestie has been developing his production work with several online releases, including the EP Bouncing Cells on the Hydropathes label. He also composes for the screen, collaborating on audiovisual and cinematic projects.

Alongside his DJ sets, he gives growing space to ambient music, exploring it through cosmic and soothing layers conceived as suspended spaces — an approach he pursues in both production and live performance.

Still active across clubs and festivals, Modestie continues on a path at the crossroads of club culture and atmospheric exploration.
